TimeWatcher for families

TimeWatcher can be a great help for parents, who want to have a way to control their children's computer usage. To provide this functionality the TimeWatcher runs in two modes called lock mode and timing mode. In the lock mode TimeWatcher locks the computer so nobody can use it without admission. In the timing mode the computer can be used as usual, but TimeWatcher keeps track of the time. If the given time is up, TimeWatcher locks the computer mode

There are different ways, how you can control the computer access of your children with TimeWatcher

  • The Time Distributor - This is the most educational tool. The parents declare a certain amount of time, for which their children can use the computer per day or week. Once, that is done, they don't have to worry any more. TimeWatcher keeps track, that the kids don't spent more time than allowed. There is also a possibility to configure breaks, which the kids have to take after a certain time. With this function you can make sure your children take a rest once in a while, to relax their eyes and body.

TimeWatcher also offer a functionality to declare a list of so-called "forbidden programs". With this list, you can make sure your children won't access programs, which are not intended for them.
