TimeWatcher is shareware, which means we offer an evaluation version of the program, which is completely free. You can install this evaluation version on your computer and test the program. You only have to pay something, if you like TimeWatcher and want to use it.

There are the following differences between the evaluation version and the registered version.

In the evaluation version the password is shown during the Security Check.

In the evaluation version there is a label "UNREGISTERED copy...only for EVALUATION" displayed in locking mode.

In the evaluation version, you can use unlimited computers in the TimeWatcher Network. In the registered version, you can only connect as many computers as you registered for.

The download file is 'zipped' and has a size of  2225 KB. Before the installation you have to unzip it.

The latest version of TimeWatcher is 4.12, released January 23, 2000

We also offer an update programm, which will do the update from the versions between 4.0 and 4.11 to the new version 4.12. This program does not work with the versions prior to version 4.0 and also not with all versions of TimeWatcher - special edition kafekontrol. To update, just unzip the zip file and run the program TwUp412.exe. This will replace your old TimeWatcher exe file, with the new one.

You can also do this update "manually", by renaming the file tiwa41.ex_, which is included in the update package, to tiwa41.exe. Then you have to replace the exe file in your TimeWatcher directory with the one you just renamed.
